 Multifunction Hand Dynamometer

A high precision (22 bits) analog to digital (A/D) system provides a wide range and very accurate force measurement from 1 kg (accuracy <0.01 gr.) to 4000 kg (accuracy <1 kg). System uses two high-speed microprocessors, where the main CPU connected to the A/D and the stability platform information. The second's CPU responsible for data processing and to display data on LCD. The slim keyboard, five extra keys and one LCD provide a user-friendly system for research. Information via RS232 serial port is transported to the computer to be utilized by the software. In this system the subject can observe subject force curve on the computer monitor as well as the LCD. LED shows the comparison force in the desired force range. However, this device can also be used without computer. This system can store 3 types of force sensor calibration data, information from stability platform device and test parameters in a non-volatile memory.

SKINFOLD CALIPER
 

Skinfold Caliper is a device which measures the thickness of a fold of skin with its underlying layer of fat. By doing this at key locations, shown by research to be representative of the total amount of fat on the body, it is possible to estimate the total percent body fat of a person. The caliper has the capacity to measure up to 75 mm with 0.5 mm precision. New product is available in Malaysia

Tail Flick Analgesia Meter

     Tail Flick Analgesia Meter is a user friendly and very precise system. This device has been developed during the 5 years to provide high facilities and reliability for research in analgesic tests. Tail flick has high speed microprocessor and a port to connect the computer or printer. Special software provided many facilities such as online results display, save or print the results, review of previous results and convert the data to Excel format. Light source, concentrating the light beams and also I.R. Switch automatically detecting the tail reaction by I.R. sensor.

Cutoff Point is adjustable between 1 - 99 seconds.

Intensity of heat is selectable from 1 to 100%. By use the 12 bit Digital to analog system (A/D), the hot point temperature has high correlation with intensity rate. Researcher can enter to system setup to do recalibration of intensity by using a digital thermometer.

In Non-automatic mode, panel mounted start and stop keys are using for manual start and terminate the test. External keys (Mouse) also giving help to researcher for fine control the test by press the mouse start and stop keys.

I.R. switch and Cutoff Point mode can be disable by press the IR Switch key and C.O.P key respectively.

Tail flick has three displays for Time, Intensity and cutoff point. Time precision is 0.1 second.

This device attach to the computer by serial port and transmitted data for drawing force curve in test time. You can select two program (Tension and Compression) and two method in each program (Constant force and variable force). Constant force performing force until reach maximum force and stable in this load. In variable Force force is floated in minimum and desire load by selected integrity.

This cones weight is from 20 increment by 10 gr. until 70 gr.
